Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2020 on show from 2 to 31 October 2020
Drawing Projects UK is delighted to present the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2020 exhibition from Friday 2 October to Saturday 31 October 2020.
This is the first opportunity to see the exhibition of 71 drawings by 56 drawing practitioners selected by Sophia Yadong Hao, Ian McKeever RA and Frances Morris, with a special display of working drawings selected by Sir Ian Blatchford, Piers Gough CBE and Sophie McKinlay. The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm by pre-booked ticket.

Drawing Projects UK is located in Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire, and is adjacent to Trowbridge Railway Station, with numerous public car parks in the vicinity.
The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2020 Exhibition:
Supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust, the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has been led by its founding Director, Professor Anita Taylor, since 1994. The exhibition has an established reputation as the foremost exhibition of drawing practice held in the UK and is known for both its promotion of artists and makers who draw, and its championing of the role and value of drawing more widely.
The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2020 exhibition includes 71 drawings by 56 practitioners including students to established artists and makers selected from 4,254 works submitted from across the UK and internationally.
The independent Selection Panels comprised Sophia Yadong Hao, Principal Curator of Cooper Gallery at University of Dundee; Ian McKeever RA, artist; and Frances Morris, Director of Tate Modern. The Working Drawing display and award was selected by Sir Ian Blatchford, Director of the Science Museum; Piers Gough CBE RA, architect; and Sophie McKinlay, Director of Programme at V&A Dundee.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize project is led by its founding Director, Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at the University of Dundee, and is supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust and delivered in partnership with Drawing Projects UK and Parker Harris.
The exhibition and engagement programme at Drawing Projects UK is supported using public funding by Arts Council England. There will be a programme of online events during the exhibition, so please look out for our Drawing Discussions and Drawing Sessions with guest artists and our Artist-in-Residence, Chloe Briggs AKA as Drawing is Free, who will also be producing some Drawing Prompts to accompany the exhibition.
