Poetry Society Stanza: Josephine Corcoran + Open Mic on 4 August

The Trowbridge Poetry Society Stanza meets every month (on the first Saturday of each month from 2-4pm) at Drawing Projects UK.

The next meeting is Saturday 4 August 2018, from 2–4pm, when Josephine Corcoran will give a reading from her new book What Are You After? published by Nine Arches Press. There will also be a Q&A with Josephine about the experience of being published by Nine Arches.

This will be followed by the chance to read your poems at the open-mic.

Josephine Corcoran lives in Wiltshire, where she is involved in schools and community literature projects. Her work as a playwright and short story writer has been broadcast on BBC R4 and she has had a stage play produced in London. Her poetry pamphlet The Misplaced House was published in the UK by tall-lighthouse (November 2014) and a full collection What Are You After? was published by Nine Arches Press in June 2018. She is founder and editor of And Other Poems (www.andotherpoems.com).

The Studio Cafe will be open for refreshments.
