Drawing Discussion: Lines of Thought Symposium on 12 July
Lines of Thought is a free symposium on drawing held in association with the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize project and held in The Chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf, 64 Orchard Place, London E14 0JY on Thursday 12 July from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The programme will include a number of presentations on drawing, followed by a panel discussion. Speakers and presentations include the following:
The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize Project: past, present and future - Professor Anita Taylor, Director of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize, Drawing Projects UK, and Executive Dean of Bath School of Art & Design at Bath Spa University;
Drawing Water - Tania Kovats, Artist, Author, Professor of Drawing at Bath Spa University, and former selector of Jerwood Drawing Prize 2009;
Sketchbooks: An Obsession - Dr Elisa Alaluusua, Artist, Curator and an Award Winner, Jerwood Drawing Prize 2015.
Transcended: a site-specific drawing for The Diaspora Paviilion at Venice - Barbara Walker, Artist and Evelyn Williams Bursary Award Winner in Jerwood Drawing Prize 2017;

Booking is essential for this free event, held during the submission process for the 2018 exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14.
