Heritage Open Day 2017 & Explore Art Trowbridge - 9 September

Explore Art Trowbridge is the second collaborative event between Drawing Projects UK, Town Hall Arts, and Trowbridge Museum and aims to showcase the rich and growing cultural offer in Trowbridge and will also be held on the same day.

Here at Drawing Projects UK, there will be a 'drop in drawing' session from 10am-12noon in The Drawing Centre Project Space, a guided event where you can try your hand at drawing. At 2pm there will be a talk and tour of Drawing Projects UK and you can hear about the history of Bridge House and its current use as a centre for drawing and contemporary art, with studios and workspaces. Some of our artists, designers and makers will open their studios and you can meet the makers in their workspaces and see their work in progress.

Throughout the day the gallery will be open, and you will be able to view our latest exhibition - See View - which includes artists from the UK and Australia. Studio Cafe will also be open during the day for refreshments.

Read more about our events and how to book for the special visit to Anita Taylor's studio at 4pm here. We look forward to welcoming you as you Explore Art in Trowbridge and Heritage Open Day across Trowbridge and the wider region.
